Very excited!

With my 40th birthday fast approaching (that's obviously not the exciting part), Mr Anusha and I have been to see jeweller, Tina Engell, to have a chat about having a cocktail ring made for me.



Her 'Cup' collection features single-stone rings of varying sizes, which can be worn on their own or, most strikingly, in a cluster of three at slightly different angles. I've had my finger measured, and the basic rings are going to be made up in the next couple of weeks. The next time I see Tina, I've got to decide which combination of stones I want to go for (I'm pretty keen in the blue topaz, green peridot and green amethyst mix seen here). All very exciting...

UPDATE: I've gone for the green amethyst, purple amethyst and lemon quartz rings, which look great in all possible combinations!
