Famous faces

There have been lots of reports in the press recently that actor Nicolas Cage is buying up houses in Bath and its surrounds - he already owns a Regency townhouse in The Circus; Midford Castle (above), three miles outside town; and he's allegedly been looking at an 18th century farmhouse in the area.

He's not the only famous person to live in and around Bath - there's a host of familiar faces to be seen around town, including shoemaker extraordinaire, Manolo Blahnik; Buffy actor, Anthony Head; musicians Alison Goldfrapp (soon to be moving to London), Peter Gabriel, Midge Ure and Van Morrison; Grand Designs' Kevin McLoud; sprinter Jason 'The Bath Bullet' Gardner; and actress Jane Seymour.

Oh, and a regular visitor to the Bath, Johnny Depp, is also rumoured to be looking for a home in the city... fingers crossed!
